Me too. I think she has cycolpedia (the mild bipolar?) or depression, as she's losing her focus and starting to fail school. She gets hyper, then depressed.
She's REALLY smart and a sweet person. I don't know what to do except support her.

Supporting her will go a long way. Just let her know she has a friend that she can talk to when she needs to.

Since she doesn't really have any other good friends, I've made that extremely clear to her. I want her to come to me, even if I'm busy, because I really care about her well being.

I glad that she has you, she will probably need you for support someday.

She's in denial right now, but I know that sooner or later she'll break, and she can't deny it anymore.

Hmm, she'll need you then. This is just a thought, but you could introduce her to this site. She may not have AS (or I assume she doesn't) but there are many people here that can also lend her support.

I don't know, she doesn't understand much about disorders, so she might not be interested.

I see. Since she is your friend, I'll leave that entirely up to you, not that it has ever my choice. I know she'll be able to rely on you, you are a great person!! :D

As yesterday, content in mind but I may have to go back to bed for the second time today, my body is only around 2 and very tired. I don't care if there is a cure for autism or not, seems to be the least of my problems these days but I would like a cure for ME; I hate wasting time in bed when life is so interesting.

I went to a party and mingled with family and friends. I also held a 5-month-old baby, we smiled, hugged and laughed together. I feel so warm and loving :D

I've been thinking about my dad again today. I watched him die in his death bed and I couldn't do anything to help him. All I could do was tell him that I loved him and that I would make him proud of me. He was heavily sedated so at least he didn't suffer. That was three years ago, and I still miss him.

That sounds awful, I am so sorry. If you ever want any support or anything, you can always talk to me.

Losing someone we love stays painful for a long time doesn't it.
