yet still feel worthless. I don't know why this is. I'm not sure if anything will cheer me up when I'm down like this. I hope I'll feel better in a few days but I don't know

Try and be positive, think of yourself like a boy scout. You have done your good turn or deed for the day (more like year).

Diagnosed under the DSM5 rules with autism spectrum disorder, under DSM4 psychologist said would have been AS (299.80) but I suspect that I am somewhere between 299.80 and 299.00 (Autism) under DSM4.

I know, it seems so flat to me, sometimes. Like things don't have depth. I try to get excited about life and death and why others get so excited about it, but I think this is part of my Asperger's Syndrome. That part of life for me is the shallow end of the pool.

I think it's an AS trait, if I saved someone's life I would expect no credit for it or special treatment as I beleive all humans should respect the lives of other humans. Meaning what I did was only a human duty, and nothing to be blown up big. I'm sure the person you saved is very greatful for what you did though.

i helped someone survive. meaning, she woulda survived on her own, but it was still a matter of life and death

stayed up and watched over someone needing an insuline shot an hour while the over-night shot failed to work.
