I Spent over half my life not crying, With all the Drama and crap and even my Dad passing away. Then today I listen to one Song and I'm Messed up, Crying. I think there is something wrong with me. How can someone Not cry for their Most Pivotal moments In their life and then just cry for a Song? Am i just Weird?

We're all weird!

Crying's an odd one for me too. Usually it takes a great deal to get a single tear out of me, and then a Doctor Who finale comes along and I'm a blubbery mess. I don't understand it either!

The feelings can wait until we are off guard and then we can be easily set off into grief or sorrow by a passing thought form. The feelings will come out, whether we wish them too or not. I have found setting aside a specific time (say 30 minutes) to just let it all out, then take a shower and change clothes and do something you really love for a while will diminish those times that I crash and burn because some song gets me down.

your mileage may vary.

You're not weird at all. I've found at various points in my life that a single song can effect me emotionally far more then all the 'talk therapy' in the world.

In my life I have heard songs on the radio that make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

Songs that make me shout "Yes, Yes".

Isn't that what songs are about? You hear them and you say "That is exactly what I would have said if I could?"
