What creative analogy do you have for interpreting life? Here's mine:

Life's like the kind of person who not only kicks you when you're down, but makes sure to kick you in the face, stomach, and if you're a male, the groin.

Life is what you see through your own eyes. If your eyes see it as something that kicks you, then it is. If it is something that gives you the opportunity to grow, so it is.

Life is whatever you want it to be & if that conflicts with what other people want, it equals the chaotic mess we live in!

So if you believe life is something that gives you an opportunity, but then life kicks you in the balls, what's it then?

Life is like stepping onto a boat that is about to sail out to sea and sink. - Shunryu Suzuki

So you might as well enjoy the ride as much as possible - ViperaAspis

I think of life as a really long school term, with lots of dull, boring classes, mixed up with some really cool ones. And you don't get report cards, or a GPA, until after you die.

it's sometimes like being an exhausted fighter pilot. there's s**t coming at you all the time, 75% of it from a direction utterly unexpected, and you just do the best you can.

I kinda see life as a video game. Each person being the central character of a certain type of game. The type of game and the framework from which an individual is allowed to make decisions is what ultimately decides what type of life you have.

I have a game, where I have to face demons (personifying my issues) and overcome obstacles in order to progress and ultimately find self fulfillment. I think most peoples 'game' would follow a similar pattern. Ultimately our self fulfillment is what we as humans are always searching for.

I see life as energy, bundled into various forms. infinite. The different frequencies/colours that i have seen of some energy fields are so beautiful, but any word description couldn't do it justice. But my jaw dropped and i am still remembering vividly.
I see life as my friend.

Heh, I was going to say that one.

"Life is a box of chocolate, filled with mixed nuts."
"Life is a box of chocolate, but I ate mine."
"Life is a box of chocolates, but mine is empty (... Because I ate it!)."
"Life is a roller coaster."
"Life is a roller coaster and I want off this crazy ride."
Ect.
My analogies vary, but those are some of my most used.

Life is like a sh*t sandwich. The more bread you have, the less sh*t you have to swallow.

I didn't make it up, but I like this one...

Life is like a box of wolverines, or a box of cane toads, or a box of canaries, depending on the day.
