Good News and Bad News. The Good News is I finally have my lisense and tomarrow I will own my first car. The Bad News is that my parents are limmiting where I can drive, locially which is Norwich CT which I consider to be a dump full of crackheads and the elderly. The Mall is no more, there isn't any places to really go to, etc.

Like I've mentioned in older posts, my parents are very kind and caring but our personalities are the complete oppisite. I am ENFP and they are like ISTJ (accurding to the Myers Briggs Personality Inticator). In less technical terms I'm more laid back, spontanious and they are real Serious People who are very strict and can get stressed out with me very easily and same here with them.

My father is a profectonist within his personality though he told me that I'm doing just fine with my driving. He HAS to be in the car with me for I guess a few months and I HAVE to drive with him in the car DAILY! I fear that he's going to yell at me if some idiot......let's say does something stupid on the road and I get blamed for it. It didn't actually happen, I'm just worrying a little bit.

I'm still trying to find my people, people who I can relate to personality wise and even other parts of myself, but one thing is for sore. It's NOT in Norwich. So I have to wait more and more.

But here's the thing. Most people go out durring the summer and maybe a little bit durring the fall. Hopefally I'll have my appartment by then. I Want to Search for my people, find support groups of all sorts, etc. But it seems impossible right now.

I do have my Mother who I see every other weekend and I usually talk her into searching for places. My parents still don't get why I'm Non-Binary Transgendered (meaning that not only do I feel that I don't feel that I'm Masculine but I'm attracted to Females with the Masculine identity), though they don't support Transgender communities as I do. They are kind of Transphobic a little bit. My parents told me that I can't bring people who are Trans over to visit, then they appoligized but they admited that they are old fashioned and just unconfortable.

My appartment should me coming up very soon.

Well today is the big day, within 3 hours........I'll be driving my first car. Unfortunatly, my father will be supervising me and probably get into a stressful arguement while I'm on the road, I don't know, I hope not.

Permit ask for someone with a full license to be with you or it just that your parent are intrusive ? Just asking for if it is the first, not much you can do I admit. If the second and since your major (say 21 in profile, so major in like 99% of country in the world) and if it is your own car(if parent paid a part I admit risk to be harder to reason with them) and you got some trouble with the reaction your father might have, why not just tell him you want to do your first ride on your own ?

I remember getting my license last year.It was actually a Godsend for my dad.He was at work in Fort Saskatchewan and my stepmom was at work as well.He got sick at work due to Listerosis as a result of the contamination in various lunch meats...there was a big thing about it here in Canada a year ago.I ended up driving an hour to Fort Saskatchewan to pick him up. They let me drive solo right away.My parents have always been very trusting and try not to intrude, although at times my stepmom does and it gets annoying...thank God I now have space since I live three hours away from them.

I paid for my own vehicle through a bank loan, so the only people who could have done any bossing with me in regards to driving was the bank, and well banks don't follow their customers around telling them where they can go and such.
