Okay, it's almost meltdown time - getting pretty damn close.

Car is to be picked up from mechanic to day then need to get it inspected and re-registered and pay license fee before end of month.
Need to get a ride over there - three miles in possible rain is a bit much to walk.

Cat has been pretty near endlessyl ytring to scratch up under his left chin - damaged leg can't reach it.
Cna't see anyhitng wrong for him to be trying to scratch at.
Frustrated and now getting mad at him for int.

Computer printer keeps printing crooked and I can't find any reason why.
It printed straight a couple weeks ago.
Printed crooked before that.
Printed straight for a month after it was bought in June.

I don't know. Paper is straight, after that, what the hell esle is there I can do anything about?

UPS is scheduled to deliver 2 packages today and this apartment is not a place where you want them leaving stuff at your door and going away.
Am I going to miss that whill getting a ride to get my car????????????????

Mostly, what is the deal with the cat and what is with the printer????????????????????????????

Gaaahhhhhh I"m frustrated :!:
And this on top of what's left of a general sense of anxiety and frustration still left over from unknown reasons yesterday.

Why is it always like that? Why do a dozen small problems always have to pop up at the same time to complicate each other 10-fold.

i've read before that cats are known to present allergy symptoms in weird ways like scratching odd spots like under their chin. So it may not be anything serious. Check online first or call a vet for some free advice, but i would think it's ok to use a bit of aloe or something similar to see if that helps.

your printer sounds like it's a mechanical issue, something with a feeder or what ever rolls the paper up, something is getting knocked out of line and feeding the paper in crooked. lots of moving parts, so something is probably getting knocked out of place, then randomly knocked back into place then out etc.

i hate UPS, i used to work in the shipping/receiving department of a furniture store and dealt with UPS daily. They have no standards and every driver does things differently. Technically, being a 2 day package, they will not leave anything unless it is signed for. But if the driver is lazy he can just leave it at the door. And if you call to find out where/when, some kind of window, all they will say is between 8am and 8pm, they will never give more specifics.

Had vet appointmenda week ago. She didn't find anything, no fleas, no dermatitis.
Am member here http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/HANDICATS2/ since he is handicapped - is a almost dead roadkill rescue who mad an amazing recvery but does have some difficulties - but, hey, he's alive, doing okay, and has someone to love him.
Asked the gang there for input. Suggested taking him off food with fish in it.

Talked to my wife this morning on phone, we don't live toghether, she said her 2 cats are doing pretty much same thng.
Have had thunderstorms last couple days - her theory is something about electrical charges in air may be giving them static buildup in their hair?
