Am now feeling too drained to write about it....
Tomorrow is my birthday..

I have been feeling poorly all day...It started out with me waking up from very disturbing dreams....and later I went and visited my good friend at his work so that we could have lunch...and I tried to talk to him about some things that were going on that I was having difficulty processing....and he told me that it was "Just Drama"..and not worth talking about....and that made me upset because I felt like he had gotten mad at me just for trying to talk about something.....but he apologized after i got visibly upset..so I did ok for a while..though I started feeling tired and nauseous (nausea often accompanies my meltdowns)...By the time I got back home I was feeling increasingly poorly and had to go lay down..but Flakey had to go to the office..which meant that I was the only one in the building and had to answer the phones....

and a lady called asking for directions to my venue...and even though I gave her as many directions as I could, she kept pressing and pressing me to be more specific..even though she said she had our website up and access to map quest...and everything....and I didn't know how to tell her what she wanted to hear and ended up hanging up on her...which I would not have done if I had not already been all melty in the first place... ...so naturally she calls back all irate and asks to speak to the manager...and I tell her that I am the manager..and she proceeds to chew me out and I tell her that I am mildly autistic and am unable to communicate with her at this time. ( I think it is ok for me to tell people this when I am having a meltdown because otherwise they will not understand why I am acting so strangely...) Then I called Flakey and told him I had a meltdown with a lady on the phone...and gave him her number to call her back....and naturally she was irate with him and told him I should be fired...she also accused me of "Talking like a recording" ...because one of the times she called back, I did not answer and my voice happens to be on the voicemail message...anyway....He said that she seemed to be a real B****....So I have been staying in the back all evening because the "irate lady" is here at the venue because she is the mom of one of the performers....

Earlier this evening I called my good friend..again just to try to talk to him and he got angry and started yelling because of the way I am handling my problems.....He is ASish too and it is not uncommon for us to have meltdowns at the same time...
But later he apologized...

I have been frantically trying to publicize these two events I am supposed to perform at this weekend..because I am worried about no one showing up...annnnnd...ummmm.....well....I have all this other stuff I need to be doing but I have been paralyzed in front of the computer...not to mention crying nonstop for several hours etc...etc..etc...

I had a look at your website. What a strange woman, there are clear directions and a map there.. cannot see what her problem is 8O . I dont know what to do when people ask me for directions, I cannot remember the sequence of streets. Dont worry about her, she obviously was power tripping or something. I hope you feel better, and get some rest.

I hope you have a fabulous birthday tomorrow too. My birthday is also coming up soon.. in about 4 weeks.

Reminds me of an incident at work that left me feeling like crap and feeling guilty.I ended up going to the local pub that night and downing 9 beers in one night.Coincedently, they had a band playing blues music such as Jimmy Hendrix and such.It eased off the depressed and guilty feelings but it was replaced with a massive headache the next day.I had to go to a baptism for a family friend the next day on behalf of my parents, so that didnt help. The headache was worsened by screamin kids, but at least for me, the guilt, sadness, and anger were gone.I pulled through, albeit with a hangover...Im not advocating getting hammered, but just sharing my personal experience.

Sheesh, that lady needs to get over herself. I could even find the place and I'm horrible with directions.

I've hung up on a customer before, but usually can cover it with "I am so sorry, we got disconnected. I was just trying to call you back." For most it works. One of my jobs I have to answer phones for several propane companies and a hazmat company. The thing I love about the job though is our bosses rule with customers. As long as we don't swear and the customer starts it you can match them for rudeness blow for blow. He sees no reason we should be abused on the phone just because people feel entitled.

Anyways happy b-day and I hope it goes better than the day before.

It seemes that this lady got more problems than you and also a bunch of disrespect...
Im sorry for your experiences this day and that you are feeling down. Having a birthday in the middle of everything isnt making it easier I know
I also use to have meltdowns close to my birthday and know I can be very sensitive when its comming on...
I hope you wont get fired due to this lady and that you can move on and that you get positive aspects on Your Day
and that you will have a wild big cheering audience!!

So, Now its Your Birthday and I want to give my greetings to you by this funny playing song

Of course I wouldn't get fired..I help run the place...I would basically have to sell the car and set the place on fire in order to get fired... I even "quit" once and got sucked back in despite what most would concider to be unforgivable circumstances...

I feel mostly better now at the moment....

Ouch...wine is worse than beer when it comes to hangovers
