Someone linked that in their livejournal today (one with a link for their email). I saw ahead of me that people were upset by it, and I resultingly gave bogus answers. I'm disgusted on principle. The entirety of my rant is in my own LJ if you are alreayd a friend fo mine on there. I made it public.

What do you think? Sickening, or "really funny"? Honestly I think this is tantamount to linking to a virus.

Seriously, I agree with you: it is a creepy site. The information they're trolling for is none of anyone's business. If people want to find out information about somebody, I think they need to do what people did before Google, the Internet and private detectives: ask them. If they want to answer, great. If they don't, leave it alone.

I just bawled the guy out over AIM. I kept him as a freind on LJ to see if he will recant; I sincerely doubt it and shall delete him soon. Already deleted him off a couple other sites. I told him what I thought of him; it was calm and nonabusive but not flattering at all. I blandly disliked him in general but this put it over the edge.

As curious as I have been about some of my friends personal business, I would never do that to anyone, and I would question the loyalty of anyone that would. Serissa, it is not a virus. It is tantamount to phishing.

it just annoys me some one will go throgh all that effort im making that website for such a stupid cause.

By the way: I confrotned him over AIM about it. He, of course, feels he did absoltuely nothing wrong. I no longer count him as a friend. ((Self-centered meanness like this is a habit for him; I wouln't be this upset with HIM otherwise, but I find his persoanality repugnant.))

Just had a look at it and oh my God! If you were truly friends with someone why would you want to do that to them? If a friend chooses to tell you anything like that about themselves fair enough, if not then hey thats also fair enough. And what sicko would even go to the trouble to make a site like that? Someone with something lacking from their lives which would make them do that to their own friends? Its just wrong.
