For those of you following the Neuroman vs mental health agency/toxic boss saga, the end approaches.
the psychiatrist said i am fine to work (what else would he say?)
i return to work on Feb 6.
i am supposed to meet with the director before reporting for work.
i thought i was anxious before.

you know where to find me:

1134.

if you haven't figured this out, put the numbers on your calculator.

I am happy for you. I am also concerned.

I hope you will take extra care of yourself.

May the gods be between you and harm in all the dark places you must walk.

i have managed some constructive things in the past 4 months but mostly i have made myself at home here thanks to:
a lot of really supportive people,
a pirate thread
a pirate kitten,
the first party i ever enjoyed,
my first mature party ever,
dark chocolate stockings,
realizing i can flirt,
binary,
lightbulb jokes,
untrainable (im still laughing),
poetry,
chocolate,
suggestions,
comfort,
encouragement,
and a cat which is the only thing faster than hyperman!
thanks all of you. you know who you are.

on monday i have a meeting with my supervisor and the director. the director said she wants to start fresh. i hope they don't think i am that stupid. maybe they do. brown skin, you know, rots the brain or something.
i meet with them at 9 am est. i am anxious but managed to grab some confidence from a good friend who put it out there.
i have internet access at work. i will update you from there on monday. and probably just shake, rub my head and rock for the rest of the weekend.

9 am on Monday I meet with my supervisor and her boss, the director.
i am not as anxious as i could be.
wish i was less anxious.
wish i knew what set them off in the first place.
there is some saying about reading the writing on the wall.
i wish they would just tell me.
maybe they will.
unlikely.

Hmm... you mentioned a cat. Is there any chance you could play with the cat? I find it very stress-reducing.

lol, if i don't play with the cat i'd be in trouble. she demands it.
the best thing about having ADHD is forgetting things like how much is in my checking account. i was off by a lot. the way it usually goes for me, i forget to pay bills and then discover there is too much money there.
this time i was deceived by the overdraft protection - in december it made me think i had more money than i had so i overdrew my account. past two months i have been unsure how much i had so was extra careful to subtract the amount of overdraft protection.
so that's how much extra i have.
oops.
all of that is to say that i don't have to wait for next month to get the most anxiety reducing, lovely incredible i missed it for the past six years fantastic simple pleasure - a radio in my car!

anticipating that will keep the stress level at a minimum. nothing they do will stop me from thinking about this, which will happen on Friday.

music. music music. music in my car without having to wear the mp3 player with headphone in only one ear music. sing at the top of my lungs loud music in my car. outblasting the ghetto blasters with mozart music in my car. had no idea until now how much i missed my car music.
