my uncle not understanding

My Uncle A. came down from Sydney today he said to me "I will see you tomorrow" I said to him "you mean Saturday" he then said "oh I didnt realise" I asked him if he was being sarcastic he said yes "I knew you would correct me". I got upset by this yeah I corrected him coz he was wrong my grandma's party is Sat and there is nothing wrong with telling him so I like things to be right for details to be correct. I wish he understood that I didnt like the sarcasm.

I think he did forget that it was Saturday, but went along with the impression that you had, that he was being sarcastic..... When he said "I knew you would correct me" I think he really was being sarcastic. Does that make sense? Don't worry about it. He might have just been embarrassed.
