I've been having shortness of breathelately, and my heart seems to race-Doctor gave me some antibiotics for Bronchitus but they didn't do the trick.I'm 51.
plus I'm scared of bills and afraid if i'm developing heart problems I won't be able to hike anymore , about all I enjoy.

Not really aspie ralated, except i don't have a lot of other aspects of life to fall back on.

Are you taking any medications other than the antibiotics for bronchitis?

I'm glad you are seeing the doctor. Let us know what they say...you have some very worrisome symtoms.

Mold could do it.

A lot of things could do it, including the caffeine, the aspirin under certain circumstances if you take too much, as well as the mold. It could even be related to anxiety in combination with the bronchitis. What did the doctor say? Are you OK?

Thanks for answering. I have been thinking about you and hoping you are OK. I am glad your heart is fine. Did the doctor give you an inhaler or something for the asthma or for allergies or did the doctor just say to use a scarf over your face in cold weather? I mean, I have heard of asthma being made worse by cold dry weather, but I have never heard of someone who does not have asthma at all having it only because of cold weather. I guess anything is possible, however.

He jokingly suggested I move to Arizona. He also said he didn't like the term asthma, and suggested that I sould exercise indoors in cold weather from now on.

Thanks for thinking about me.
