Keep trying, but next time, dont volunteer information that is not directly asked of you...such as
Q. Do you have any mental health issues or other issues that may affect your ability...?
A.No.
Reason-If your issues may not or wont affect what you do, you dont volunteer the information that you have the issues in the first place if they have no affect on what you will be doing whatsoever. To volunteer unecessary information, you are opening yourself up to unwarranted discrimination. This is not lying, since you are not lying,...you are simply not mentioning something that is irrelevant anyway.
OR...if they ask if you have any issues without clarifying, ask them to specify what they mean, and is that question relevant, and why. After such, answer on a need to know basis and do not volunteer information that is irrelevant to what you are signing up for.Keep your answers short, simple, and vague, and only answer what they ask in a direct manner.
NTs tend to discriminate against those with autism, so if autism does not affect what you are signing up for, dont mention it.
