She must have gotten out last night. People keep leaving the stinking doors open, and now it seems she has disappeared.

I had a meltdown last night and refused to perform on stage...We had a big fight...Everything has been extremely stressful and chaotic...I had another meltdown again tonight and sorta went catatonic on stage.....I have been rude to a lot of people...I have been directing a lot of rage towards my main partner lately...I have a hard time understanding exactly why...He is calling me emotionally abusive...maybe I am..

I miss my little Enty..I am worried that someone bad might have gotten her or that she was chased by dogs or something...She has not been outside since she was a kitten...We live on a really busy street....I feel so lost...

I don't know how long I will be able to live the way I do...loud stinking bands every night...Perpetually catering to people I have no connection to...I have been having self-destructive thoughts because I feel so stuck...

I need some peace and quiet...

I got stressed just watching one of your tour of SuperHappyFunland videos. You seriously need a quiet space that's all your own. Maybe it's all the competing noise. I'm sorry about your cat. Maybe since she's not used to being outdoors she's hiding somewhere. You know how when you first bring a cat home you never can find them for a few days because they're hiding until it feels safe? I would go out looking for her in the very early morning (with food) before a lot of traffic starts up. I understand how you feel about her. I lost a cat when I was out of town and a friend was keeping him. It devastated me. I guess I was anthropomorphizing but all I could think about was he thought I had abandoned him.

Right now I can't sleep because they are watching really loud zombie movies in the front room...I will wait a little while and then go search for Enty again...

Are you able to put up posters? And are you able to check the local pounds/animal care facilities? Photos are helpful, you can say 'have you seen this cat?' rather than having to discribe your cat. Don't lose hope.

About your main partner, he may not be giving your emotions the respect that they're due. Your cat is missing, you're upset about it. My cats are indoor/outdoor cats, but I still get worried about them if I don't see them at least once a day. People sometimes don't understand the bond that some people and animals have. I hope you find Entropy soon, and also that you find a calmer mental space for yourself.

As for Entropy, I suggest putting up posters and contacting shelters. As for cooling down I have some thoughts. One thing I find helps me relax, oddly enough, is music. Just go for the music that you like most. Be it anything from pop music, to metal, to country, to rap. As for other thoughts, one thing I find helps me calm down is video games, you may want to try finding your niche and sticking in it for a while. Perfect example is I may feel really aggro, and my method of usually calming down is to ether play an FPS, or a flight sim, for you it may be anything, even wii fit may help, just find your hobby and try to do it to calm down. The best idea I have is just to find something you like doing, and do it. Usually it means something that is isolated enough that you don't get emotional toward anyone.

In general the best advice I can give you is simply this, find what you enjoy doing alone, and do it to blow off steam. Still, get those shelters contacted and get the posters up first. You probably will have much more look with more people searching than just one, and if people know Entropy is missing, then you have a better chance of seeing Entropy again. Your first priority should be finding your cat, your second priority should be cooling off.

Poor kitty! And poor you! Has she been microchipped? If anyone finds her and takes her to a shelter or vet, they will check her for a microchip and if she is chipped, they will contact you. It took me a while to be willing to microchip my dog (it sounds like something of Revelation), but the peace of mind it has given me is amazing. He suffered a TBI before I adopted him and has a lot of... peculiarities. I really hope you find her. Pets (of furry family members) are extremely important. Good luck! Also, great name for a cat!

I think everyone else said what I was thinking as far as posters.

My one ferret escaped out a window and the feeling of dread was paralyzing. :(

I'm very sorry you are going through all of this and I hope you find your kitty.

((hugs))

It must be tough. I have a friend who's cat has recently been run over by a car. I'm giving her a lot of support right now.

I really hope that you can get all kinds of local support you can. People that help you search for your cat, you get some support from the guys in the band so you dont have to fight with them. I hope they can understand how you feel and respect you for beeing worried about your little cat. Please let us know how the progress is going. Me and my cat want Entropy to come back to you!

I'm sure she'll be back soon! When Jareth got out, we couldn't find him - but he was meowing at the back door to be let in the next morning.
