I've joined a NT bereavement group, but I think I'm really feeling the NT-ness of the group!

What you can do is to search WP and other AS related sites about your particular bereavement. To find aspies who have similuar more specific experiences, might be more beneficial than taking part in an general NT group

I agree with you. They're so nice there.
But they seem to be spending their time saying "Just keep on breathing in and out", and "I miss him so much", and "We're here for each other".

Really very nice sentiments, but maybe it's just me, but I was expecting a much wider range of thoughts, musings, meanderings, rage, even humour, but they seem to be quietly grieving, and then quietly getting on with their lives, without articulating much.

I applaud them for the ability to get on with it, but a bit more talking would be good. I suppose that aspies tend to be annoyingly chatty to NTs, once they get going, and now this aspie wants the NTs to be a bit more chatty on the subject. Lol.

Interesting. I have learned that we aspies do grief diffrently. Some have hard to let out their feelings and some wants to take the heavy load off with bringing in more humour

I've not been successful in finding an aspie bereavement group, so if someone else finds on, could you please post a link on here? Thank you.
