Flew by so damn fast. I've never experienced such a short year.

It was six and a half months ago since I've moved out on my own, and I am still getting used to the fact that I'm the bwahs.
Feels like it was maybe a month ago that I was laughing my ass off at that dou*** f***n' up his oath in front of the world during such a historical moment.

The year has pretty much been a disaster. Especially seeing as at least three people in my life have died/are dying this year (two days in a row, even, one on Christmas Eve and one on Christmas Day). The year flying by just makes it seem like a really bad day. You would think it would make it easier to move on, but it doesn't.

((Hugs))

I'm sorry to hear that. My Christmas was no picnic either. It was my first Christmas without my Grandpa on my dad's side of the family, and my Nana, his stepmum has Alzimer's. \

I hope that things get better for both of us.

Not my best year, but still very good, despite stressful things that happened.

Overall, 1999 was probably my worst year ever.

He didn't actually, justice Roberts did and the president politely waited for him to get it right. Just the facts. Sorry about your loss.

2009 wasn't a particularly good year for me, nor was it particularly bad. I sort of feel I wasted my time by living like a sleepwalker. Same goes for 2008 and 2007 by the way. But 2010 gives me a chance to start anew, fortunately. Good things did happen though, like: I finally got the chance to move to a quieter and more pleasant town. And I finally sort of came to terms with the prospect of lifelong bachelorhood, although that still needs some work emotionally speaking.

I wish everyone the very best for 2010 (and the years to follow)!

Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. My father died two weeks before Christmas (in 2004), so I sort of know that it ruins the festive season completely.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. Either way a f***up. Only I f****d up this time. Maybe the year was longer than I thought!

Thanks for the condolences. I hope my uncle makes it, but he's got cancer quite badly. My mother saw a documentary about some holy spring up in the mountains some place in Europe where supposedly the Virgin Mary appeared in, and my uncle has plenty of money and he can very well afford to get over there. People come from all over to bathe in that spring for similar reasons.
The problem is, even though I'm religious I still don't think that my mother should get his hopes up on taking a bath in a spring of holy water and be instantaneously healed as many have claimed to have happened.
