I have a brother with autism and when he has a meltdown he also runs a fever. Is this common with other people with autism? He can run as high as 102 during a meltdown.

Meltdowns vary from person to person. Some are physically abusive to themselves, some are verbally abusive, etc. Whether or not this has occurred with others, i dont kow, but I wouldnt be surprised.

When I have a meltdown, I get into a 10 minute crying jig, and that's my meltdown.
