l take the meds because you need them?

I am. Who wants to join my club? I have been on Celexa (you know all about the yachts and dinners and gift boxes and cash from Forest Laboratories?) But Celexa saved me. I saw Seroquel stuff (like pens, etc) in shrinks' offices and didn't like the Seroquel so discontinued it, but I also saw Zyprexa and Geodon and Abilify and Risperdal stuff, and I needed those meds. But other docs put me on loxapine, and that is an old, typical antipsychotic that is not advertised in any way. Haldol too; same for Haldol. But every person in the psych ward I was in was on Haldol, everyone in another psych ward I was in was on loxapine, everyone in one city I lived in was on Seroquel or Celexa or both... actually, everybody EVERYWHERE was on Celexa.

I am aware of what the drug companies are doing,. But I still need the drugs.

I haven't seen it where I am, but even if they did, I would still take the meds. If they don't work, too darn bad :P I'll get a new one, even if the doctors get paid for the other one.

I would feel the same way if someone was selling me oxygen to breathe. I wouldn't like it, but think about the alternative? There is no naturopathic remedy for lack of oxygen.
