age is only a number.

there are organisations out there designed to help people find work and make friends.
one of my classmates at TAFE (technical school) was 65.
at my graduation cermony, there were some older graduates.

nothing wrong with being a mature age student.

I have similar circumstances and I feel exactly the same way, yet I keep moving along anyway. No matter how it all ends, I will not have been a quitter.

As best you can, step back just a bit and look for even the slightest glimmer of opportunity to engage others, or at least someone ... then go in that direction.

...Well , specific to returning to college :( , leaving the question of money to the side for now , my records are all screwed up , I need help ( Again , when I say " Help " I am not referring to " money in my pocket " here ! !! !! !! !! ) , so much help , in trying to track them down/make it right/see if they would " do what they're supposed to do " this time - Everyone just says " Oh , the admissions officers will do you up right " ! Not in my case .
I KNOW what they'll do , they'll f**k things up like they did before :( ! !! !! !! !! !!
IF I could get some help...
I'm not in the position to apply now , but , even if I was... :(
I have little money now , I am nearly toothless , most of my teeth were taken out on Cal's Medicare program and then , California's budget crisis shut down dental Medical  ...
I tried to reply before , I felt SO  sad when a f**k-up meant that it didn't go up ! !! !! !! !! !!
