Whenever I *think* I've finally found the right career for me, as soon as I start researching it, and taking the steps necessary to fulfill my goal, I will completely lose interest all of a sudden, or else feel extremely apprehensive, or both, and will stop in my tracks and start looking again until I find another potential career, and the whole thing will happen all over again. Has anyone else ever experienced this? It's incredibly depressing and frustrating. I just wish I could find the one career that's meant for me, stick with it, and do whatever is necessary to get that career. I've been really distressed about this lately.
I know most people would say this thread belongs in the "work" forum, but since it's been really bugging me lately, I thought this would be a better place to put it.
Any thoughts/input/suggestions?
I have had that happen to me with just interests. The key to it though is to keep finding new things about the topic/career that keep you interested. Like when I want to get motivated to start studying Russian I watch "Moscow Does Not Believe In Tear" and then for the next few weeks I study Russian religiously.
So the key is to keep finding things that keep you interested. Oh an if your anything like me your interests will cycle and repeat.
