I have discussed my neighbor on this board in the past.

Transgressions like putting trash in our garbage bins (she does not get trash service to save money), her cat sh*tting in our yard, growing an eyesore of a farm on her property, husband driving on the wrong side of our street.

She is constantly parking her car diagnally in her driveway. I have never seen anyone else do this. It just looks crappy. It really bugs the hell out of me. It feels like a subconscious f*ck you to everyone.

I am only asking about her parking her car diagnally in the driveway. I don't need anyone to tell the me the other things are wrong.

Am I overreacting?

Did she ask to put her trash in your garbage bins? If she didn't, it then is a fair thing to be annoyed about.

If her cat is an outdoors cat, she has very little control over the cat and its actions. If it were an indoors cat and she brought it over to your yard to poop, then that would be bad on her part. You are intitled to be annoyed about this but there is little that can be done about it.

About the farm, you haven't explained how and why it's an eyesore. So I won't comment on it.

If her husband drives on the legally wrong side of the road, this is dangerious but not her fault. You are intitled to have problems with her husband about this.

How she parks her car is her own business, it is an overreaction to get annoyed at her about how she parks her car in her own driveway.

what they do on their property is non of your business as long as it doesn't effect you in any way. The use of your trash and pop on your lawn you can protest about and should if it bothers you enough.
The other things are their life, she's not there for your aesthetic pleasure.

That's not completely true. If this person is in a residential area and they have particular zoning ordiances and they do not follow a particular rule, then it's the community's buisness. For example, we cannot place our garbage cans out to the curb before 4pm, if we do, we are at risk of someone complaining and they do have the right to complain. I know this because we unknowingly made that mistake and got a warning from the borough. There are also rules about how many cars you are allowed to have in your driveway. I'm not saying I agree with everything, but it is, what it is.

To the OP, in my opinion, everything but the car would bother me. If by her parking diagonally is preventing you from accessing your home or driveway, then I would complain. About the other stuff, I would seriously consider looking up the zoning laws in your community (if you live in a residential area). That could solve the problem with the "eyesore of a farm". As for the garbage, this sounds stupid, but could you find a way to make them inaccessible or lock them away? I don't know if that would really solve the problem.

I understand and I heard about these regulations before. Also seen this program about a man going to jail for not having teh right lawn, I'm from Sweden so I think this is beyond insane and almost a laughing matter, but seems like people don't laugh at things like that.
But I still think that if the neighbor keeps to them selves and doesn't break any regulations then fine by me (if what he does is a hazard of some sort to the public then by all means tell someone that can handle it) but other than that if it's all legal then ... ok.

And the thing with the trash, just tell them to leave your f*****g property alone or you'll empty it all in their back yard.
Well, I don't mean to mock but don't if you can go to jail for that sort of thing as well... harsh country.

I also think many of the laws are petty and I share your mindset. But as you said, it seems like people don't laugh at things like that. I came from a very rural (country) area and didn't know anything about these rules and regulations. When I moved to my current residence, I was shocked on how many rules I had to follow. I actually needed a long time to adjust and rationalize all the rules....some I still haven't. I would love to move back to the country.

Sorry for hijacking the tread OP.

Lol sounds like my mum. She does some of that and I think it's wrong. Using the neighbours bins, annoying. Our cats possibly crap on the neighbours yard (I don't know). The place grass is at least knee height. Her husband doesn't drive wrong cus she's single and the car isn't parked diagonally. It gets on my nerves and it's her doing it to them. Sometimes she makes me put it in the neighbours bin. I refuse to now but man, it is so embarressing.
