nothing negative happens?

I hate the influence of negative events and possible negatives to happen, be it the occasional stress of others, news on the tv, too much loud noise, too many bright images, and anything that can hurt my state of tranquility.

I feel so badly to want a day like this. I should go upstairs or something and create a fantasy day or something where nothing negative gets in, because I need that tranquility.

I think it's common for anyone to want a day where nothing negative happens. It's just the way we get it that Aspies differ... we pull back into our 'shell', not go away on vacation.

Disneyworld & cruises is an NTs idea of avoiding the bad... a remote hermit's cave is the Aspie version.

The only way I can pull this off is to severly limit the input from the rest of the world and dive into my special interest... no news, no errands, very limited people time. Turn off the phone, the TV, the radio.

A cruise WOULD be nice...albeit one where I lie on a deck chair watching the sea and the ship's wake either from the Lido Deck or my own private balcony...no one to bother me and nobody trying to cajole me into those silly games the cruise director tries to get people in on. Dinner alone or with the one person I would be on the cruise with. Hell, I could just as well go all alone and be satisfied!

I wish nothing negative EVER happened. I'm sure everybody does, regardless of AS.

I wish nothing negative happened of course, I just mean when it happens to me and my sensitivity and analytical mind can't cope with it... I guess it would be possibly useful and refreshing to almost take a lot of time out and focus on a brilliant place... almost like a fantasy zone. I could turn a room in my house into a brilliant place of peace and tranquility mentally, and use this as a place to really relax and feel peaceful.

I don't see a problem with that.

Some folks spend big bucks at shi-shi spas for that very thing... it's a flippin' huge industry. And if you do it at home, you won't have any supercilious, unctuous lackey touching you or disturbing your solitude every 5 minutes asking if there's anything you need...

Recently I haven't been feeling good at all and I have developed ocd pure o, and it's been a challenge. I would like to take a lot of time to rest and start to feel really nice and unselfish.
