Are certain countries more conducive with AS?

I doubt there really is a culture that's more accomodating, but in your experience, if there is, tell me about it.

well, nerdiness is acceptable in asian culture. my teacher's son who has AS has a girlfriend (but he's studying in ireland now). In the further math A-Level classes you can find many guys who don't talk to girls, are brilliant and play computer games. People find it normal especially among nerdy guys. Of course girls are expected to socialise more so it's not good for AS girls with intellectual interests. However AS girls who love anime and are not obsessed with intellectual things can find anime fans. I wonder why the experts say that it's worse for guys.

An interest in the sciences is more acceptable in Asian cultures. Social nonconformity and behavioral quirks are even less accepted, and disability services are far less existent than in the West.

Try being one, having AS, and developing a crush on one of the animated characters. When that happens, i usually end up taking a break from watching the series in question, at least for a week or two.
