Hey all, my stepfather keeps on bullying me, and keeps on telling me that I am a failure in life now, and I will be a failure in life in the future, he comments on everything I do, from going to the kitchen to get some water and going to the laundry room to get toilet paper. He continously makes comments on how there will be no food left once I have left the kitchen, even if I took nothing. He has been doing this for close to 10 years now, and I am really starting to hate him, I almost wish that he would have died when he needed a new liver. I don't know what to do anymore, I think I am going to have a breakdown if this keeps on. I have tried talking to my mother about this, but to no avail.

Have you tried exsplaining to him that his constant comments are upsetting you and that he should stop?

Maybe he dosent know that he is upsetting you then again maybe he does and he takes pleasure out of making your life miserable? :(

Try talking to him about it

If you can run away to a friend's house or
at least a trusted's house, go for it,
you might have to upset mum to wake
her up.

Put a strong lock on your door and don't
bend one bit on this if you decide to do it.

If you can cuss, just say "Fxxx you" in
a low matter of fact voice everytime
he says this poop to you.

If you can't cuss, just say "you stink"
to him or insert your favourite insult.

Or do a big fake yawn, or say "your boring"
to him every time.

Or just "I hate you" or "Only a dirty terrorist would say that".

WEar dark glasses and refuse to talk to him
anymore.

Get nasty on him. Insult him every turn you
take and see how he likes it.

Try not to go ballistic on him if you can avoid it,
I have a terrible time with tantrums and they
suck.

Zorry I stink with advisories but I had a schinty
step father who finally has died in 2000 and I
was never so glad to hear such great news I was
abused by him so this does affect me.

I ended up doing alot of things I wish I'd "handled better"
like violence and tantrums i wsh i'd have just
made a smartbutt remark at him instead.

Finally my mum who loved me, made the correct
choice to eject that dirty old butt hole from
our lives so we could be a family again some what.

First off, a lot of people have fallow periods and go on to considerable success. This applies to both 'normal' people (and no one is truly normal!) and to us Aspies.

And as a young person, it's normal and healthy to try a variety of things. For example, how can you know if you're like and be good at, say, furniture sales or a weekly news show on youtube, unless you try them first?

Do you have a grandparent(s) or uncle and aunt you could go live with for a while? I'm guessing you're in your second half of your senior year in high school, and it's usually easy as pie to register at a new school. New residency in the area --> you can register. In fact, the public school is legally required to accept you as a new student.

Now, you can revisit, maybe stay with a friend if you're back in the area, maybe stay with your parents.

Now, going to a new school, I recommend taking three or four boxing lessons, with the goal of a tight, defensive style to a draw. Even if it doesn't come to this, just having this in the background gives you a certain sense of confidence. And the reason for tight, defensive boxing where you'd almost prefer a draw is that you're not trying to humiliate anyone. (Wished we live in a better world, but we don't. We need to be realistic and strategic about the world we do live in. And contribute to a better world along the way, in ways that feel right to us, and experiment regarding this with an open heart.)
