I've been suffering the last couple of days.
Everything seems to remind me of my Grandmother that passed away in 2005.
She was my best friend and did everything with me
It seems to hurt more and more instead of less and less over time.
My heart earns for her to be there when I need her, but alas she isn't.
With my faith I know I'll see her again, but I miss her greatly and wish she was here to see everything I've been doing.
It hurts me that she won't get to see me get married and be there when I have children.
She was my second mother and it hurts without her

Things are starting to remind me of my Grandpa, who passed away last July, a day before his 95th Birthday.

Does your faith give you reason to believe that she is not aware of what you are doing now?

Not quite sure on that one. I believe that God doesn't let them see the bad, but I'm not sure on my belief if they can see us at all. I know I pray that God tells her about the good in my life and that she knows I still love her.

I've lost all three grandparents, a great aunt or something, a fellow scout, an Eagle scout orientator, a teaching assistant... I actually witnessed my grandmother have a fatal heart attack in the car, sitting next to me. Earlier this spring, my aunt's boyfriend died. Since then, one of her dogs has died. I haven't gone more than 2 years without someone I know dying.

I am not religious. I believe that death is a universal constant, and all things are transient. People will die, civilizations will fall, the sun will burn out and the earth will be destroyed. Anyone that tries to comfort me, and say that my philosophy isn't that bad is insincere. Life is probably pointless, but that shouldn't stop you from living.

I'll leave you to believe that though it makes me sad that you believe such a thing.
