in my experience, asperger's is a plauge in wich any positive outcomes are enveloped by thenegitive. what good is intelgentce if you don't have the abitiy to use it. what good is loyalty if its wasted on a morose superficial society. america dons't want you you are second class as far as the medical world is concered. so i say this new tolerence and autism speaks BS is just and illusion since autism is this years fad disease. like add/adhd in the 80's and 90's. i say if you embrace what makes you different you will have a bad isolated life. if you want to suceed in life FIT IN. stop making youself out to be smarter. no one likes the smart guy stop telling quirky jokes shut up go to work and accept your life will be lonely. women only wan't paychecks and 6 pk abs. love is a poet's cash box it doesn't exist. trhose movies like mozart and the whale are BS rainman wasn't even an autisic. lovge is BS life is hell . hell is peace and the living worse. if you agre then say yeah if not prove me wrong and if you think you have autism and don't have the ,md paper to prove it don't talk you don't know what your talking about

Anything you feel or see is inherently an illusion, including your misery. Plato's "Allegory of the Cave" clearly shows anything you see or feel is subjective, you are not "wrong" when you don't buy someone else's delusion. You just don't buy the same illusion as everyone else. You don't need to fit in to be right or happy, I think the problem is that you think you must have certain things or have a certain social status to be "right". That's BS, and it will burn you in the end if you think that. Buddha, Bertrand Russell and Socrates all embraced views that weren't popular and they were mocked, jailed or executed for holding views that we believe now to be universally true. You don't have to follow the zeitgeist to be "right" or "happy".

It could be worse, you could've been born a quadraplegic or blind.

I also apologize if you're a blind and quadraplegic aspie.

my mum once did tell me that life is what you make it. I think that there's a lot of truth to that.

the whole world is one grand illusion with nested illusions within. happiness is just another, but one that i wouldn't mind having more often.

Everything is an illusion
we live in an illusory world.
& everyone else has that same experience.
& so it seems morose.
but if mind over matter counts for anything.
it can change for the better.
from morose to more than.
Because if happiness is illusion.
then sadness is too.
So lighten up kid :) .

my problem is the matter of my mind NOT being over matter, IOW i have not been able to summon sufficient strength to overcome matter.

I have a large paycheck and 6-pack abs.

I'm still single.

So much for that theory.

But I am very happy with my life. :)

My 6 pack abs make me look weird. I shouldn't have bothered.

It is very hard to function in a society that's very intolerant towards social ineptitude and just plain differences in general. I'm convinced this intolerance goes as deep as human nature, I don't believe it's simply a cultural thing.

Although your post is pretty cynical, I'm not gonna get dismissive about it. I understand why you feel the way you do.
