I feel really bored and irritated with my limited life. Throw some random ideas at me that may help me break me out of this funk. Thanks.

Scuba diving is fun, if you'd be able to try it (if you'd like it). Sometimes you can learn how at a local swimming pool.

What are your interests? perhaps it would help people make suggestions.

Me too, for quite awhile. I've become indecisive on everything, it seems, big or small. Today, the thought came into my head, what is holding me back? Why am I afraid, whenever there's a risk involved? I think it is fear of failure, or rejection, or helplessness, or hardship. I've taken for granted that I can't handle those things. But, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I could handle it. I'm not sure, but considering that possibility, at least, seemed to turn on a light bulb today. I felt more productive, and I took a few small risks and some turned out better than I expected. Tomorrow, who knows?

Good luck, I hope a light bulb comes on for you.

Scuba diving does look very interesting. Don't know how I'd do it around here, but thanks for the suggestion!

I'd rather that suggestions not be connected to my current interests, to get more out of the box results. Like scuba diving! I'd never think of that on my own.

Thanks for the hope, Greenturtle. I'm glad that you are feeling a bit better today. I still love your cartoons, did you ever do any more?

Perhaps climbing/absailing, sometimes can be fun. Also forest walks. Or doing a class (learning a language or first aid for example).

About the scuba diving, you can do it on holidays sometimes, depending on where you go.

A long walk also helps.

Yes. I did one based on the Cinnamon Bears thread.

Someone sent me a link to Laughter Yoga today. In theory, this looks like a great idea. I'm a big believer that shared laughter/play brings people together. But in practice, I don't think I could handle it. Sorry, I'm not willing to make a fool of myself in front of a room of strangers. That's why I stay stuck, I guess.

Take a long walk in the forest, iPod optional. Works wonders for me.

Take a bus to some unknown, strange place in the country. Write poetry.

I was feeling stuck, in August, my last days, stuck in 1977 as a Punker. I've decided to go back to my Mod roots, and I don't feel so stuck, anymore.

Hey, cute cartoon. Laughter Yoga looks really cool actually, good call.

And thanks for the other suggestions, walking, bus trips. All except poetry ;)

I'm not sure Mod styles would work on me, CR, but I appreciate the effort. :)
