I want to learn to drive. I want to live on my own. I want just one or two good friends. I want to know what it feels like to kiss a boy before the age of twenty.

I just want to be like everybody else - why is this so much to ask for? Why must I have to work so hard? I just get so tired. We shouldn't have to go through this, watching our peers (and those even younger) running so far ahead.

I HATE feeling like this. I find it comforting to think about what I am good and what is in store. It is different, but it isn't any less grand.

By the way, were you born in 1994?

No, I wasn't born in 1994. It was just the happiest year of my life - I'm a nineteen-year-old high school dropout.

1994 was happy for me too.

Welp, how many friends to do you have?

Not many. That factor is actually contributing a lot to this current funk, if you will. I have one who lives over an hour away, haven't seen her all summer. Was talking to a certain male friend for a while, who abruptly ceased contact.

I've never been so good at making & keeping friends.

You seem like an awesome person. I'd love to be your friend.

If you were close to Indiana, I could teach you to drive too. :)
