Dad said Superman 2 was on I said OH is it the Richard Donner cut?! (all excited like) and he was all confused. I tried to explain but he said "If you know so much you wouldn't of got kicked out of school." (He likes to toss that in my face every once in a while) 
I love knowing stuff like that (As a huge Superman fan I've seen the Donner Cut) Anyway he doesn't care to him it's just Superman 2 and that's that.

Thanks that makes since. I've said it before and I'll say it again maybe I can meet some friends/boyfriend who has the same interests and intensity of talking about said interest.

Anyway, people don't generally care about things that they're not all that interested in, especially if it makes them look stupid.
By you saying there was a different version that he was unaware of, that most likely made him feel dumb, so he felt the need to insult you.
Next time he gives you that line, you could reply with "well if you knew anything you'd know why I got kicked out of school, and it has nothing to do with that."
I love knowing stuff like that too, and wanting to share your interests is only natural.

That makes since. Thanks. but usually life is confusing. If I stand up for myself at times it turns into a big argument and at others dad is like "stand up for yourself." and smiles like it's all a big game. (I know if I did stand up for myself it'd be the 1st one an argument would happen)

Glad you liked the Donner cut so did I.Yeah, I know how that goes, I've had many an argument with my father under similar circumstances.
I wish they'd let Donner direct all the Superman movies, then the others, after 2, might've been better. At least DC let him write a storyline in the Superman comics a few years ago, where he brought his versions of Zod, Ursa, and Non into the comic universe.

Ya it makes me understand why I haven't gotten over it in 5 1/2 years getting told "You shouldn't of got yourself kicked out of college." It's very upsetting for me.
As another topic I did mention I agree there's no pleasing them even getting a degree I will still be immature and need to "grow up" always in there eyes.

lol, well she doesn't say it extremely rude, she just politely tells me. Unlike my parents, who will just sit there and act like they're completely not interested, and bascially give me hints to stop talking but I don't think they realize that I'm not that good about picking up hints. That's one of the reasons that I like my girlfriend is she's forward about everything, and I know she loves me so she's not trying to be mean or hurtful, she's actually helping me out (as I've told her about the AS, and that sometimes I can ramble or get annoying).
Well atleast she says it nicely. It's sad no one is listening I want my boyfriend to listen to my rambles (If me/him have the same interest) Otherwise I find rambling boring as hell! LOL! ramble about topics I don't care about boring LOL!
So I want friends/boyfriend with the same interests/eagerness as I have.

Well this is one of the ways I've managed to be able to ramble about my special interests while still keeping a somewhat okay social life with other people. I've found that the internet has pretty much everything. So when I want to talk about roads, and where they go, and how long they are, I can go to a yahoo groups page and do that. since my girlfriend doesn't really care that all the roads in the county are either numbered avenues (north-south) or presidents names (east-west)
