Don't know if this is the right subforum but nonetheless here goes.

Lately I've had this bout of "if I were normal" because, and I'm not saying this to be cruel or disrespectful at all, I wasn't born with AS I was born NT and would still be that had I not fallen out of a moving vehicle onto my head as a toddler. That point made, I'm sure there's a point somewhere as you were growing up you thought to yourself "if only I were normal this," or "if only I were normal" that. How did you get past that feeling becasuse not being normal makes me feel so inferior and so inacpable.

Don't think like that. I can't say your life would have been easier as a NT but that's shouldn't matter. Doesn't matter, doesn't matter.

There is no going back, what you have is the hand you were dealt, not to sound harsh but that's how it is. You can fold or you can go all in, why wonder what life would have been?

I could dig deep wondering if I haven't screwed up so many relationships where would I be. But honestly I am past that point, you just have to do what you love. What makes you happy and with whoever!

You have the potential to do great things, the question is are you going to dwell how things could've gone while life is ticking away?
