So I walk out this morning to get the paper. Our neighbor is walking his dog and he is peeing in our yard.
Is that considered a big deal? I am trying to be laid back about things, but not sure if I should have said something. At the same time I don't want to be a pushover.
What if the dog poops and the neighbor picks it up. Is that a reason to say something?
Is it a big deal to you? You're the one who has to decide what you do - and don't - want to object to. Every person has their own threshold.
Personally, even if no dog is ever allowed to pee or poop on my lawn, all the birds, squirrels, cats, skunks, raccoons, opossums, occasional foxes, deer, and coyotes are going to do whatever they want wherever they want. So I don't bother to worry about a dog who's stopped to check his p-mail.
Of course, lawnmowers are one of my eternal torments, so I hate the whole concept of "lawn care" anyway. This no doubt also has a big influence on how I'd react. Which is why I say that you are the one who needs to decide if this is something that matters to you.
