A real friend is someone who supports you through thick and thin,
A real friend is someone who genuinely likes you for who you are no matter what,
A real friend is someone who fully understands you regardless of what you did,
A real friend is someone who tells you nothing but the whole truth,
A real friend is someone who seems to be very hard to get in this world,
A real friend is someone who looks out for your troubles,
A real friend is someone who helps is very trustworthy and someone to rely on,
A real friend is someone who has all these qualities above and someone you can call a real friend.

I agree with you on all those things. If somebody can't accept me, or they're not there for me, or they won't listen than they're not a friend.

I agree although I had friends who were not trustworthy. Like a good friend that I lended two books and he has not returned them yet. But that is part of life. :)

A real friend also never treats you bad and makes fun of you nor intentionally insult you

A real friend would not think you did something to them or even think you were onto something because they would know you don't mean to do things or say things what you mean

I had one friend who blocked me because I asked him if he was fat after he was talking about his weight. We were friends for a year so he should know it was an honest question I asked, not me trying to insult him or make him feel bad. He was aspie too so he should have known that also I did not mean it that way. he did come back and apologized and so did I but things were not the same ever since. I was just too hurt and the damage was too big. If he got hurt by what i asked, how was I going to know he isn't going to get hurt with other things I will say or ask him?

I don't think I've ever had a 'real friend'.

Fortunately there are billions of people in this world who could be a potential friend. The Internet can bring (almost) every person in the world together. I don't know, I just felt like writing something positive :D

That's the kind of friend I always try to be.

All I can say is that everytime I do get a friend, I either screw up or they treat me like dirt, apparently I'm just too kind and what makes me sick to the stomach is the fact that you get some friends (who you would not call a friend) would just ruin somebodys happiness.

That I would just call a bully otherwise if he/she was to intentionally do it.

For some reason, people get crap for their niceness. I don't know why. I have gotten it too in the past but not from friends. Just people on forums and kids in my high school.

Sometimes when I want to do something nice, I have to ask myself am I doing this for a reputation to suck up to people or am I doing this because I want to. Am I doing this for the best of everyone or is it about me?
