OMG! I had a dream someone was shooting me!! !

I woke up in tears just now!! ! Worst of all I was living with my aunt and her boyfriend. (She's now decesased) and she wouldn't let me leave the house I said I was going to leave and the boyfriend said if you aren't back in 17minutes I'll kill you. I sad find shoot me now then her and him were shooting me and before a bullet hit me I woke up in tears. Perhaps this foreshadows my parents issues in real life.

I don't think this foreshadows anything. It think it expresses how you feel when people are fighting around you. You're probably right that you displaced the tension you feel about your parents onto your aunt and your boyfriend.

I wonder if your parents fight around you and with you, or even if there is unexpressed tension that feels like bullets to you. I feel other people's hostility so intensely that it can feel my life is in danger.

I think part of your brain is trying to help the rest of it understand how threatened it feels by some tense situation in your life. When that happens to me, I can get that part of my brain to calm down by taking some action to makes things better.

I'm still figuring out how to remind people often enough of how hypersensitive I am, without being hostile or seeming whiny. I'm reading a lot into your dream because it reminds me of how I sometimes feel, so please don't take offense.

I had a similiar dream too. I felt my forehead and it was a bullet. I don't know who shot me though. I had these short dreams during the night all of which relates to death. It's quite sad. In another dream my dog collasped on the family room floor and dad tried to revive him. Don't know if my dog was ok or not. In another dream mom woke up screaming and I had to call up my cousins out of state and my dad about the bad news. Then the saddest dream of all is me laying in a casket and people at my viewing drinking alcohol and Miley Cyrus's music playing in the background "Party in the USA." I told mom about these short dreams this morning and she told me it's nothing.

LOL! I'm sorry but you being dead in a casket and "Party in the USA" is playing as funeral music! IMO that's funny. (Not the you dead part) but the music choice. It's like Party in the USA X is dead!! !! Sorry but that's NOT funeral music obviously. I remember while not a dream I saw a vision of a friend in a casket while laying in the bathtub as a kid. The next day over phone class (class over the phone) that friend had died during surgery. WICKED! There is a lot of tension in the home perhaps my brain was projecting that onto my aunt and her boyfriend. I don't remember him too well but obviously she loved me and she'd I think never threaten me with violence IMO. What odd dreams people have. Thanks for the words of encouragement.
