Real tough time. Could do with some help

Hey guys.
I'm going through a tough patch at the momet. I'm living with the boyfriend at a place that we can't stay forever. So we're house hunting. We found one and applied for it. Turns out that Bouyfriends company hasn't given him a contract so we can't have the house uless we pay up front. (Which I can afforde to do but BF can't and won't let me pay all of it)
BF now utterly distraught and won't get out of bed because he's "ruined everything" . I don't know what to do. Any advice or hugs would help.

It certainly doesn;t sound romantic, but could you get your boyfriend to accept your paying for the house and returning the money to you later, when he has some? If he feels like it is needed, the two of you could even set up some kind of "contract". Anyway I don't think the two of you should miss out on that house simply because he has issues with his pride or whatever.

Sorry. It must be a tough time for both of you. And I can see your concern for him.

Maybe you just need to let him lay in bed for a while. Let him know that you will talk when he is ready.

As far as the house, you need to take care of yourself first. Then take care of him. Get the house and pay for it. I wonder just how long he'll want to live on the street before he changes his mind.
