Angry.

So I booked a day off work tomorrow; I get phoned 5 minutes ago (yes, it's 3.30AM!) and it's my boss, DRUNK, asking me if i'll work tomorrow because he has to sleep, because he's tired. Like an idiot I said yes because I just can't say no to things.

So, does he really want me to come in or was he just drunk talking?? - ugh, he also 'accidentally' touched my boob TWICE last week, I know when men are groping me, and he was. Ugh.

I love my job, luckily he's not around often, but now he seems to be more and more.

I am suprised you put up with this all.

Late night calling, potential sexual haressments and potential future malbehaviour towards you...

Wow.

I'd take steps.

Well, as long as it's OK for him to touch your boobs with his hand, then it should be OK for you to touch his balls with your foot.

I love my job. He's just awful. :\
He never used to be around - but lately he's been around more and more.

I went into work this morning, and he was there (obviously hungover) and snapped at me 'What are you doing here? I'm not paying you. It's your day off!' He obviously forgot I called. I just apologised and came home.

If he has someone higher up managing him, report him to whoever that is.

He doesn't. I work in a little garage, he is the boss boss.

Kinda sounded like when I worked at Honda, my boss was a fat slob who kissed ass to the general manager and bullshitted with the girls upstairs in the accounting and Business Development offices. Too bad he's the union steward

umm him touching you sexual harassment. Him calling you drunk just shows he's very unprofessional. How old is he? Anyways about him touching you, that should be reported to HR or someone. Male co workers shouldn't be touching their female co workers like that.

I found this, but I don't know if it is helpful.

http://www.adviceguide.org.uk/index/lif ... t_work.htm

If one of my male co workers or female co workers was harassing me I go to their boss or HR. Then if they don't care about the issue, I go to the CEO of the company.

He's.. 35ish I think.

I just hope if I keep ignoring him, he'll give up and go back to hardly ever coming around.

I had his one job working at an assisted living home. I wasn't there when the scenario happened. Apparently one of my co workers came into work so drunk and got very violent. I think she was fired the next day. She was a high up position too. There was a lot of bad stuff going on at this place. But that was a very long time ago. At my current job I have gone out to lunch with my co workers and they do sometimes drink beer, but not enough to get completely drunk. None of them have called me drunk or touched me in certain ways. Well I do work for Federal Government. Not sure how strict they are when it comes to sexual harassment. But every work place doesn't allow it.

So this man is the boss/owner of the company you work for? You can talk to HR or talk to him personally. I'm sure someone at your work saw your boss touched you. Does your boyfriend know?

Doesn't matter his age or rank in the company, what he's doing is completely inappropriate. Many of us AS ladies have put up with this treatment when we are absolutely not obligated to! Just because you cannot always read social cues does NOT mean you should be subjected to advances from your boss.

You have the right to do your job without being touched or spoken to inappropriately. I understand that he is in charge. Are there any other folks at work who might be supportive of you (a long time coworker, a sympathetic relative of his)? If so, maybe you can speak to them about how you're being treated at work.

I am thinking of you... if there is anything I can do to help, please feel free to PM me!

A couple of my co-workers are very protective of me. If I told them, I don't know what they'd do, or if I told my boyfriend or best friend.. :\

I just don't want to cause trouble.

Bring a tape recorder to work. Hide it in your pocket, and then go to HR. If they don't like it, tell them that since he violated your rights, you decided to violate his. At least you can show that he was drunk.
