I'm so worthless
I'm not married, I don't have kids, I have a poor social life, I have learning disability and aspergers, I'm a low life, I'm not a rich person, I just want to go to heaven now. Christine is same age as me. She got A's in school and is now a Medical Doctor. Her dad is my dermatologist. She's not married, and has no kids. But she is rich and smart and has a lot of friends. So life for her is easy and happy. I'm just a worthless person. I shouldn't be alive.
So the key to happiness is
1. Being rich
2. Being popular (having a lot of friends)
3. Being smart
God take me home

re:1. being rich is relative. no matter how much money you have, it's nearly always the case that someone else you know will have more (some of her classmates may be earning twice as much or even more)
re:2. Having lots of friends doesn't mean that they are all close or good ones. Many popular people attract others who hang around just because they are 'popular'. Even if she does have genuine friends, often they are always falling out and bickering (from what I see of popular people in my year), so despite their good points, they can sometimes be more trouble than they're worth. With friends, you're often obliged to be sociable even when you least want to, or you'll get talked about.
re:3. Being smart is not always associated with success or happiness. Many smart people have depression. And book smarts are often not so much about intelligence as how much effort you spend studying.
Anyway, Luvsterriers, you're not worthless. And the grass is always greener on the other side. Christine may have more friends or wealth, but she also probably has;
1. stress. a lot of it (due to work)
2. her own life ambitions (which may not be wealth; maybe she wants a family? who knows?)
3. no time at all to pursue her interests outside medicine (depending on what speciality she's in)
4. if she's from a family of doctors, she may have to live up to their expectations. Maybe she wanted to be a pianist?
I'm not saying that she did, just that it's hard to tell how happy someone really is from looking at them from the outside. And that's not even including other things like back-ache and IBS and other things that are invisible but make people's lives miserable at times.

Your ideas of what makes a person happy is wrong. You are brainwashed by society. By television. By Schools. By irresponsible parents. By authorities. Their ideas are wrong. They are invalid. They are based off of a corrupt system or form of thought. True happiness lies in discovering these lies. True happiness is realizing that you aren't like these robots who think that success equals money, popularity and "intelligence". They are all controlled and they are all happy on the outside but inside they suffer more than you could possibly imagine. They just don't show it and some don't even know it. True happiness is Knowledge of self. True happiness is seeing through this material world that we live in. True happiness is realizing who you really are and that The True Creator loves you and wants you to shine. It doesn't want to take you home yet. It wants you to realize here on earth just how special you are. Find It.
