Limo driver

I'm feeling sad but I've decided I'm going to do my damnedest to become a limo driver. I had my 2nd driving lesson today and my instructor said I'm one of 2 or 3 people he's taught in 10 years who stick out as the best. He thinks I'm more or less mastered left hand and right hand turns, reversing, changing 3 gears, stopping before turning from junctions, starting the car, adjusting the seat and mirrors and checking my blind spots and mirrors for hazards.

To me life is a great mystery. I just can't figure it out. I never have success at socialising and so I can think of nothing better than cruising in a limo all day in one of them dandy suits. I really enjoy driving. What better for a drifter than to drift all day ferrying people around?

I want social contact so much and yet I'm hopeless at it. As a limo driver I can meet people for a valid reason. If it doesn't make much money I'll at least have more social contact than your typical employee and so might be just as well off all things considered.

I know an aspie who's a cab driver and enjoys it for this very reason. Great job finding something that works for you!! !

My boyfriend is an aspie and drives a medical van all day. A medical van btw, is for handicapped or disabled people to be taken to doctor's appointments, or just grocery shopping. He seems to enjoy talking to these people, but his coworkers are another story entirely.

Like everyone else said, good luck! My favorite job I ever had was being a cab driver. I'd see if I could do limo driving, but I HATE wearing suits.
