I can't concentrate on anything and I hate it. Even on the computer it's become harder and harder to write the simplest reply and here I am trying to write stories but it's become impossible. I constantly want to walk around without thinking but I want to focus on my writing which is impossible. I feel like writer's block gets worse with each story and when I do write it's like I'm half asleep when I do. I always want to sleep instead of think but I really do want to think. I really do want my mind to settle down and I want to be able to focus on writing and proofread everything without feeling like I'm so spaced out like I do. I'm not even on drugs and I'm getting plenty of sleep. I think I was tested for ADHD before but failed.

I know exactly how you feel. I'm going through it now.

I've been struggling with social anxiety for the longest time and it's not only the anxiety that makes it harder for me to focus but the fact that it f***s with my head and I keep thinking about it can also be really distracting. You ever get so drained that your mind just blanks out?

Get tested again. I'm sure you'll pass the test. ADHD treatments can really make a big difference. I am on methylphenidate (Ritalin, Concerta), which works for about 80% of ADHD-ers. Many aspies don't do so well on Strattera, according to research. (Strattera also didn't work for me.)
