I recently came up with an idea. Try to think, rather than of good or bad qualities, of just various qualities, especially the main ones, that describe yourself. This may help people like themselves; they do not try to hunt out good qualities or list all their bad qualities - just 'neutral' ones. After writing it, reread it and see what you think. For example, I frequently feel hate for myself, but when I list that I am
usually kind and helpful
philosophical
bad-tempered
intelligent
imaginative
thoughtful
funny
supposedly good looking
and maybe a few others, I realize: that is not that bad at all, really. There are a few negative parts, but for the most part I reckon I sound pretty good.

You try it!

Yeah, positivity, negativity, either way, it's delusional thinking.

I usually try to understand something and grasp the concept of it
I don't put anything up on a pedestal because nothing is sacred to be
I'm a stubborn ass
I generally don't listen to what other people have to say because they are probably wrong
I have a hard time relaxing
I can be a drama queen at times
I'm excellent at pattern recognition
I know people better than anyone I've ever met
I seem to think I'm the greatest person in the world, and that being honest with myself about it somehow makes it OK
I have a tendency to be more concerned with being right than actually dealing with a problem. Part of the reason is because I'm so obsessed with doing things my way that I ignore the best way.
I spend too much time on the Internet
I like getting enough physical activity, because the more I get, the happier I am
As my diet and exercise goes, so my overall sanity goes
I have a hard time with hard work. I know the value of hard work, but I seem to have trouble with the execution part, and success largely depends on hard work.

I am incredibly impulsive
I get a lot of things done in a short space of time
but equally will do as little as possible the rest of the time
i struggle to make decisions

I love people, constantly looking for good through minefield personalities
I am incredibly vulnerable as a result
I have a very good appitite but will also go for long periods of time without food
I sleep for ages
I stay awake for ages
I am shy generally
But often never shut up

You know what? This is working better than I expected (though not as good as I had hoped).

Maybe a few more posts would be good to get a better idea, and maybe even a moderator could stick this - after all, the point is to look back at this and realise what you really are like.
