Okay, life sucks. Let's unsuck it bit by bit. Even if it's only a tiny bit.

My positive thing for the day: I went jogging (improves self) and I recycled epic amounts of paper (improves world).

I went to the Museum of Science and Industry with some other aspies. We had some great discussions about theoretical physics and philosophy. Life only sucks when you let it.

I played tennis with my children.

I got everything we needed for Easter baskets.

I did the laundry necessary for everybody to dress up tomorrow for Easter church service.

I sold my engagement ring so I could get my kids exactly what I wanted to get them for Easter.

I told my husband exactly what I thought - no holds barred - about the most recent hairbrained idea he and his father have thought up and are trying to push on me. I aint allowing these cockamamie schemes to pass the idea stage anymore. They're just a waste of time, money and resources.

Watched some Glee (everything's better when you watch some Glee).

Posted 10 Rules for the Wii so there's no more fighting, bossing, interfering or otherwise disharmony surrounding the thing. It's already working!

That's 7 things. :)

General support work. No 'built an orphanage' moments. Slow day really. How I'd really like to help people, no one wants.

I was dx'd w/ adhd as a kid (it was the 80's it was the hip thing 2do). I never really bought it. I could pay attention just fine to the tonal fuctations of the teachers voice, u mean there was something else that i had been supposed to. So as i have pursued my own answers it all clicked: the reason i score 180 on the RAADS the reason i rarely make eyecontact and when i do it looks like i am off in a dream. The reason i see nothing odd about about going off into a lecture on behavoirism in the midst of social conversation. The final nail the illistrated guide to an aspie for the nt. (turtle)
My dad was down for the weekend and i sat him down and flat out told him. He is a smart man (phd/caltec) so of coursr a skeptic. Certaily that guy on boston legal was the aspie u can talk (about science, his fortie ).
I then made him read the illistrated guide. By the time he had finnished he was telling me about how he had misrecognized a student and congradulated him on getting tenure. Heh!

Read through a good part of a book I'm supposed to read for school (and yes, it's the Giver).

I mean 'life sucks in general', not my life specifically sucks. Happiness isn't always possible (especially if your brain chemicals just don't produce happiness) but positive change is.

That's just my perspective.
