Sometimes, I get so pissed off at my parents. I'm graduating college this year. I'm trying to pack up my dorm. I slip up on the little details a lot of times and call to ask for some tips. They get mad at me for calling so much. Organizing's not my strong suit, and so when I get tripped up on something, I can stay there for ages. They're pissed at me, and I'm just kinda pissed back right now. Would they rather me not pack up in advance at all?? Because that's what would happen if I didn't ask for advice.

Try writing down what they say, if you're asking the same questions over again, or writing down your questions so you can limit your calls to once every few days or once a week. Also, ask your peers for advice. Keep post-its to remind you of when your next call will be so you don't forget and call them too soon. I'm sorry they're annoyed. You're supposed to be able to ask parents for help.

Thanks for the advice. Those sound like good ideas.
