It's weird lately that people I know have been getting sick...

Firstly, my grandmother has multiple myeloma - it's not recent as she was diagnosed in 2004 [I was the one who had to translate the bad news to my grandmother in the hospital, as she doesn't speak English]. She's been doing well since then, but lately she's starting to get unwell again.

Then I hear a good friend of mine is undergoing radiation treatment to prevent something from making her "brain dead" [her words].

THEN today I check up on my best friend as I hadn't heard from her for months, and apparently it's because she's been ill all this time :?

What is this, sick season? :?

My Family and Relatives are getting sick, as well. Even I am. My Dad always seems to have a Cold, and he's always Coughing and blowing his Nose. My Mom has Flu-Like simptoms and she's always on the Toilet, five out of the seven days of the Week. I have Depression, so I guess it would be safe for me to say that I'm sick in the Head. My Aunt has Rhumitoid Arthritis. My Sister works with Children, so she gets Strep Throat a lot. My Nana seems to have Annorexia. My younger Cousin has a Stomach Bug and my Grandpa is on Dialesis. The only Healthy One out of my Family, is my Oldest Cousin.

I mentioned this quite a while back in another post (long before you became a member, I think) and it's ironic that things like that seem to happen at the same time.

Not sure how it's ironic, but it's certainly odd that events sometimes happen all at once. I'm starting to think that the next time I make contact with someone, I'm going to hear how they've been unwell.

I don't really know how to actually talk to them...I've been prattling on about stuff as per usual, but I don't know if that's appropriate or if I'm being an insensitive b***h. I guess that since they haven't commented as yet, then I'm doing okay? Then again people tend to be passive-aggressive if they don't like something.
