If you're in good health you could go for a long walk at least?

Thank you. Good advice. I'm really afraid of sun damage though. I'll try.

Really everything just takes too much effort or panics me.

What seems to be the problem, is it confidence/self esteem related?

I'm so sorry. I know that feeling and it's downright horrible. :( I've had days on end where I've just sat at the computer and laid in bed, getting up only to eat and go to the bathroom.

It's frustrating and I can't claim to fully understand your situation, but in the end what it comes down to is pushing yourself harder. Take that extra step, find something to do--get up, read, take another walk, do some cleaning (I find that useful for distraction), exercise w/ or w/o TV. Make food if you have the ingredients available. There are options.

It could also help to punch something like a pillow or rant. Blowing off steam will lift some weight from your shoulders.

Thank you. I made an emergency appt with a therapist (not my usual one). I'm justvery depressed and anxious. No energy but still agitated. All day in bed at the computer except to go to the kitchen and bathroom sounds about right. I forgot to feed my dog lunch today too I realized.

I can't even drive myself to the appt. If I have to I'll haveto juststay at home. I hope my dad drives me. I feel like a two-year-old. This is so I can't even think of the word. The one that's worse than embarrassing. Shameful or something.

I'm pretty much home alone.

Internet fights loneliness. :D

Yeah it does! To a certain extent but then I start feeling very lonely. Nothing substitutes for actual 3-D interaction.

Just a silly suggestion, but you could join Secondlife to keep you going until you have some real life interraction, or for times when you can't.
I found it very useful when I was indoors for 8 months.

If you can't get outside, try doing some excercises in the house to get your heart pumping. It could something as simple as going up and down steps. Increased metabolic rates will have a positive effect on your mood. Play some invigorating music while you're excercising. Holts' piece "Mars the Bringer of War" or Sebelius' "Finlandia" really do it for me.

Get some help and don't be afraid or ashamed to seek it
