Not that it's inspirational but I've been wanting to kill myself forever but there's too many scary unsuccessful stories. I always drwamed of cyanide or some miracle accident. Idk what to tell you. Just hang on... get friends to talk to. Like me. @ThilieChristine

Here's how that would play out...

X (my friend): :? "Hey! Why'd you just throw that painting in the fire?"
Me: :| "Long story. You know—I once got a 3-digit offer for it."
X: :o "What? No way! Why didn't you take it?"
Me: :| "Because the client died."
X: 8O "............................ So, what is that? like—the 3rd one this month?"
Me: :( "You don't have to rub it in! I'd have gone with chibi if I'd known I was that bad at surrealism."

Alcohol poisoning would do it, but the fact that you have the will to ask here leads me to believe you'd rather have another way out without seriously hurting yourself. Terrible times can end, but being dead guarantees you won't enjoy it when it happens.

Mustering all your strength to ride out the bad times is well worth it. I went through a time a while back where I wished every night to drift off and never wake up. It was hellish, and seemed to last a lot longer than it really did. It really helps to find someone to talk to. I made use of the therapist on campus, and what few friends I had who could understand that sort of thing.

And even though I technically answered your question, do avoid drinking a lot by yourself during times like this. I found that it can actually strengthen the overwhelming feeling of despair, and you need to stay healthy and keep your mind strong to get through it.

dont think of dying... I valued what you had to say in the other thread and you never know what is around the corner... whenever I allow myself to explore the world I am in awe of all creation and it is ever-changing and you never know what the next week month year or decade will hold.. even if you can guess what the future holds, it's only a silhouette that you are able to see :)

to mention that other post on this thread: I shoulda really died over 5 years ago because of alcohol poisoning (sorta intentional) I was throwing up many many many many many times and then blood, but I am still here and have stopped drinking and thank God for that. waking up in alco- mode is one of the darkest most depressing things... and now, I've become a spiritual guy -- if not a man, totally undeservedly having received words from the Father Himself -- God. He is out there. I won't get "religious" here (religion distances and pushes away people, for religion is of man and purely of the flesh/carnal nature).

please choose to make it THROUGH whatever it is that you must encounter each day (however so). It is nice to see you posting, at least :star:

Please fight this black mood. You're a kind and lovely person and the world needs all it's kind and lovely people. There are many people who care for you a great deal. The pain will pass if you give it time to, I know, I've been in that headspace, I know it passes. Please fight it. (((hugs)))

This life is a gift from the cosmos and you're a gift to the cosmos. Never waste it. It's like spitting in santas milk.

Okay. :) That cheered me up some thank you. Really puts it in perspective like nothing else. Tried to jump out of a moving car earlier but luckily my mom grabbed me (and slapped me). I like thinking about life as Santa's milk in comparison.
