I'm stuck taking a class at college that requires a descent number of "multicultural hours". Basically, I have to go to multicultural events on campus. Unfortunately, the main ones that are available when I'm not in class or the club I'm an officer in are salsa lessons... I may have a large amount of dance/ballet experience from when I was a child and have attempted belly dance workouts, but I HATE touching people due to sensory issues. When I did dance and acrobatics as a child I primarily worked with siblings and younger, typically disabled kids that didn't trigger my sensory/nerve issues. How can someone take salsa lessons if they hate touching people (I've nearly passed out and had public crying fits...)?

You can always fake it! Unless they keep tabs on what you're actually doing.

I can't fit any more classes into my schedule. But I'm planning to try and use some of my previous observation hours for these types of requirements.

Does your college have a Disability Support Services office or similar? If so, have you talked to them about this?
