I just feel awful. Last night there was this huge celebration in the city with 100,000 people and I didnt get invited by anyone to it. So I watched it in TV.

And now today I wish now I had someone to go somewhere with, it is really nice weather.

i usually feel like that on NYE, i can see the london fireworks out my window and hear people celebrating outside and i'm just indoors all aloney. my least favourite time of year ever.
And on sunny weekends i often get a bit sad i don't have someone i can just randomly do things i want to do with.

Maybe you could go for a walk anyway? just getting out is sometimes enough to perk me up abit

hope you feel better soon(:

you should venture out yourself and take a book. unless the party has spilled over to today. in which case, go yourself without the book

Yeah, I dont really know if I want to go out by myself, but it looks like I will be doing that because I dont want to sit here at home by myself.

I hope you find someone soon who you can do stuff with.

Hey Zen Mistress!

Lately I've been having lots of problems with isolation as well--caught between not wanting to be around people and getting tired of being by myself.

My only advice is: keep yourself busy--reading, even watching a movie, exercise is marvelous...

Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks David. I wish you lived near me, then I would be able to meet up with you and solve this isolation problem a little.

I feel a little better, people on Facebook have said nice things to me. Perhaps my life will get better.

No problem Zen Mistress!

If I did live nearby and we were able to meet-up, I'm guessing a bottle of red-wine would be involved! :D

I'm glad you feel a little better, and I'm sure your life will get better!

[And feel free to PM me if you ever need someone to talk to or anything! Oh, and I like your avatar!]

Yes, red wine would be a nice idea. Shiraz preferably, or Merlot perhaps.

Thanks, the avatar is from these Astronomy Picture of the day widget on my igoogle page.

Thanks for the offer to PM, I will take you up on that : ) .
