I'm not saying this to provoke you but let you know something. You aren't always clear when you post and reply to people. That leads to people either; a)assuming what you meant wrongly and/or b)replying to you in a way that is argumentative, digressive, problematic.
I don't pick on spelling errors in a forum like this, but I will say that spelling errors are very distracting to me and they are often indicators of hastily written thoughts. Typos are altogether different. Some types of grammar/spelling errors indicate that thoughts aren't original. Also, when someone misquotes then I figure that person isn't really reading the posts.
In a totally different message board, I got in a fight with someone who couldn't spell, couldn't quote me correctly, and didn't understand basic points I was making. She couldn't even understand that she was name-calling. So, that's why people point out errors, because they want to understand what is being said and know that they're posts are understood too.
At the time, I was getting it down hastily. It is incredibly hard to keep tabs on your spelling when your screen's jiggling up and down like mad. (that was the last part of the first post - the editing.
For the first part of the first post, I only had limited time.
