When? I mean things have only gone downhill......they aren't going to be looking up anytime soon. I have pretty much made up my mind about quitting college after this semester or the next one, but not because I feel like I have a good chance of finding a job......I just don't have the energy anymore, and can't deal with the stress of the loans and the fact someone is not going to like it when i can't pay that crap back. Just another thing for me to be paranoid about........

I suck at every job I have tried so far.....I mean you're pretty much worthless to the workforce if you don't have good people skills, the ability to work in a fast paced environment. So yeah I really have no plan I guess I drop out after this semester or the next one and hope for the best...

I just feel like I'm just a burden to everyone, things would be easier for some people had I never been born.

Wouldn't college help you be more qualified for jobs that require less social interaction?

Supposedly, but even college graduates are having a hard time finding work in this economy, so that is not a garantee. Also as I said I just don't have the energy for it anymore its not really worth the stress of continuing to take out loans knowing it is unlikely I will be able to pay back what I have taken out so far let alone anymore. I don't even know that I am capable of getting a degree....also as it stand now I feel since I am 22 I kinda need to start planning to move out of my moms place...money from college loans and grants I get is not enough for that sort of expense.

But of course if I quit college and am unable to find a job then I have no income at all, and I am not sure how to survive without anywhere to live or any income.....maybe that is pathetic but really I don't even know what I would do. College has just became to stressfull but I cannot really see my self finding a job and keeping it for a decent amount of time either so I am kinda stuck on what to do.....it has been made quite clear I am on my own with this regardless of how clueless I am of what to do.

Is your mom pressuring you to move out? Maybe you could be persuasive to let you stay longer if you handed her a plan. Have you thought about maybe taking some time off of school to think about what you'd like to do career wise or what you could do professionally. (Something you don't hate, if you don't enjoy) at least to pay back your loans.

Not sure if these are options.

No it has not come to that yet, but I kinda want to because her and her boyfriend fight way too much and as much as I ignore it, the environment is still unpleasent for me. I cannot really think of a single career I would want or any ideas of what I am even capable of doing professionally.

I'm sure you can find careers in mathematics where all they want are your math skills. Possibly pure mathematics, developing, building and proving.

Well from what I remember I didn't like any of the lower math classes, like alg.1 and 2. but college algebra was pretty simple except the log problems but it might be different now and so was trig. except the graphing of sinx and cosx. those were very difficult to me and finding zero or something like that when the problem was sinx-2cosx=0 or something of that nature.

My math skills are so bad I have yet to take a basic college algebra course....I failed remidal college math twice the second time with a tutor I met with like twice a week. It seems I just don't retain information related to math. I don't even know what sinx-2cosx=0 means.

Could use psychology to be a school counselor maybe.. every AS persons dream come true. (Probably sarcasm here)

Seriously tho, schools need ones that actually know what the heck they're doing.

When I graduated from highschool I was glad I never had to go back to public school ever again, so that is definatly not a direction I want to go in. Basically all of the worst experiances of my life took place in public school.

Well all the worst experiances except for the Prozac incident and watching two of my friends ditch me for this girl who was just dragging them both down.

They let you use cheat sheets if you need to.

Honestly not only is math something I do not retain information for but it makes my head hurt...so employment having to do with mathmatics is a no. I would be lucky if I could pass a college math course.

Guess that was more of a stretch, I wouldn't want to go back to school either to be honest.

There are ways to make it without college, just.. having college under your belt is more of a sure thing than not having college under your belt.

Maybe if you could just do some classes and not go the full mile, it will still be something that will look better than the alternative on a resume.

I have already taken lots of classes...and I am not sure how to make it with or without college.
