I'm very sorry, what's the matter?

Or wait, I might not be asking the right question. If it's depression I know there's no need to specify a reason.

I think I probably shouldn't have responded cause I feel the same way now but people told me it will get better and I really do hope you feel better soon too.

born with too little norepinephrine, too serotonin, and too much dopamine. Things are getting balanced out... except sleepiness. Today I took dextroamphetamine (prescribed by a sleep specialist) with caffeine. I had major anxiety and agitation.

What, the dextroamphetamine and caffeine? It made things worse today. Plus, my dad is supposed to have open-heart surgery next Monday. Two bad things in one day.

Oh oh, sorry, I thought you were saying you took it due to agitation, not that agitation was a result. It sounds like things all all-around really tough in your life right now, I'm sorry to hear that. If there is anything you can reliably get enjoyment out of, a certain food or whatever, seems like now would be the time to do a lot of that sort of thing if possible. That and seeing what your doctor has to say about the effect of the medicine of course. That can't continue.

I slep much of the night (it's 3:37 AM) and feel better. The doctor prescribed the dextroamphetamine to keep me awake but not the caffeine. If I take the dextroamphetamine without the caffeine I still don't wake up well (caffeine in the coffee I drink).
