A common topic on WrongPlanet that arises all the time, is when people have difficulty passing others smoothly in the street due to co-ordination, eye contact or other deficits. It has to be admitted that walking in the street seems to have got more hazardous, due to things like 'pavement rage', and people forcing other pedestrians to 'play chicken' with them which is something I'm not unfamiliar with.

The point of this thread, though, is the sheer stupidity that whenever people play chicken with me in the street it seems to be almost always whilst they are pushing BABIES OR TODDLERS IN BUGGIES. Obviously the idea is that if I make one wrong move under the pressure of unwillingly playing chicken then I can be to blame if something happens to the kid. Undoubtedly a very, very damning indictment indeed on me and how I must look like someone who cannot or ought not to have children.

Never mind me though, never mind any concerns about me. I'd be more concerned about the danger to which the baby/toddler is being exposed, and about why people are so dumbass stupid.

The parents probably instinctually know that if there is a conflict then pretty much everyone around will be on their side no matter how wrong they were. Being a parent is to be in a privileged class, as far as most of society is concerned (since it mostly consists of parents). So, they can more easily get away with being asshats.
