Just saying. I was perfectly fine until I got bored and came here, not I'm remembering emoptionally scarring moments that I've been trying my hardest to blot from memory, thinking ill of my future, our future, and the future as a whole, and am overall just feeling depressed right now. I don't want to live in this world anymore.

The whole point to The Haven is to allow us to say things that are depressing, because sometimes we need to. But if brings you down, go to the cheery places on the site!

Things that cheer me up when I deal with something extremely negative is to sometimes watch something hilarious. A funny movie, sitcom (Two and a half men) or animated series (family guy, futurama, south park).

I find this almost has to be done when dealing with a negative experience from work or school. A very good outlet if you don't have your own personal squad of cheerleaders around to cheer your mood up.

Think of it this way, no matter how bad our problems are there is always someone else who has it far worse.

I guess people on the Haven should remember others always come first, and edit our posts in an attemt not to bother anyone who might take a peek at this forum...ok that's kinda blunt, but this forum is for people to vent so usually they are thinking of their own problems and what they are going through when they post here.......not that what they say here might make someone sad and that they should avoid that.

Playing outside at night can be cool too. (I suppose this depends where on earth the nearest "outside at night" is, but in general I mean...)

^ I don't think they meant it in that sense.

Well, The Haven is not usually a place where people are laughing and having a ball. If one is easily affected by posts that convey sadness or depression, I would recommend not sticking around this section!

I hope you don't mean that.

Oh, I like living and all, I just don't want to be a part of THIS world with all of it's problems. I'm better now.
